How does the registration work?
- Complete the online application form
- One of our consultants will send you a formal QUOTATION as well as CLIET TAKE ON PACK and DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
- Sign and fax accepted quotation to 086 692 4141
- Deposit R 1000.00 excl. (R1140.00 including VAT) into our bank account (Details will be sent to you)
- Complete the CLIENT TAKE ON PACK and fax to 086 692 4141
- Fax the the REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION (CK1 document, Proof of Residence for your business, 3 months' Bank Statements for your business, Proof of Bank Account for your business, ID Documents for Responsible Person and 3 Sales Invocies that have been paid into you bank account) to 086 692 4141.
How long does it take?
We estimate the registration to take between 15 and 21 working days after receiving all documents mentioned here below. We will keep in touch and send you your VAT number and proof of registration as soon as we receive it.
What happens once the registration is complete?
Once you business is registered for VAT, you will need to pay 14% over to SARS (South Africa Revenue Service) for all sales made weather it is stock or service sales. You will also be entitled to claim 14% on all related expense invoices of which some exclusions do exist. You will submit a VAT return bi-monthly according to your turnover.

What is Value Added Tax (VAT)?
VAT is levied on services/goods delivered by a person/business that is
registered for VAT at 14% which needs to be paid over to SARS. Any
business whose turnover will exceed/exceeds R1 000 000 over a period of
12 months MUST register for VAT. If your business' turnover exceeds R20
000 over a 12 month period a business can however apply for a VOLUNTARY
registration.
